Deepcool's Castling 360EX White Liquid CPU Cooler Carries Anti-Leak Tech
Deepcool recently announced its Gamer Storm Castle 360EX White Central processing unit cooler, which is a triple-fan 360mm all-in-one liquid engine cooling system.
On the face of it, this liquid ice chest doesn't appear to hold in anything all also special. Information technology looks like a pretty straight-forward 360mm all-in-one whole, albeit with many nifty Andrew D. White styling and luxuriant lighting connected the CPU block. However, Deepcool has structured a leak-prevention engineering science that IT calls "Anti-News leak Tech Inwardly." Anyone else getting an "Intel Inside" marketing vibration here?
Deepcool's leak-prevention tech works by including a kinda rubber baggy that tail end expand and shrink inside a space at the end of the radiator. One lateral holds coolant, and the other side is exposed to the environment, allowing the inward press of the unit to stay somewhat about the environmental blackmail – essentially, the leak prevention whole shebang by offering a form of pressure relief.
We've discussed this feature internally present at Tom's Hardware, and we'Re not convinced it offers any added time value. The safe tubing on almost AIO's these days has enough expansion capacity to deal with any of these changes, and yet something arsenic acerose as an air babble that gets bled to a small reservoir is adequate to deal with some of the pressure changes in these stamped units. This doesn't mean that IT's a bad sport per se, just sort o that we don't believe that these units are any more leak-resistant than most properly-built competitors -- so be careful before buying into the marketing materials too deeply.
The unit comes with deuce-ac TF120-S fans that semen with the selfsame color anatomy as the radiator. They have a second layer at the end of the blades, and come with noise-damping opposing-shakiness pads at the corners of the frame. They'll spin at speeds between 500 and 1800 RPM, and will ready up to 32.1 dBA of noise piece pushy ahead to 64.4CMF per sports fan. Fortunately you fanny control them through PWM to keep those noise levels falling during light workloads.
The unit's pump features a 3-phase motor that consumes capable 2.4W. It isn't PWM controllable with just a 3-pin connector, just also makes only 7.8 dBA of noise at its orthodox speed of 2550 RPM, so it shouldn't be overmuch of a bother at any rate. The kindling happening the pump is available RGB, and it has replaceable home logos, so you can replace this with the included ying-yang template operating theatre create your own.
The Deepcool Gamer Storm Castle 360EX White is compatible with entirely contemporary sockets, including AMD's TR4 socket.
